A total 19 morphometric and six meristic characteristics were recorded. The average total length and weight of the fish in P.indicus (23.2 ± 6.9) cm, (99.9 ± 78.4) gr and in G.suppositus species (20.6 ± 4.7) cm, (67.4±33.7) gr and also in G.scaber (18.5±2.9) cm, (31.0±17.2) gr. In the studied species, among all the measured morphometric traits (except head hight, body hight and Eye part head higth), the rest of the traits in P.indicus species have the highest and lowest (except head length and Anal fin hight ) has been observed in G.scaber. In the investigation of meristic traits, the highest and lowest number of gill rakers in G.suppositus and G.scaber, respectively. The number of rays Pectoral fin was the highest in G.suppositus and the lowest in P.indicus. species.the three studied species in different age groups, showed significant differences in various morphometric and meristic parameters (except for the number of rays of the first dorsal fin) (P<0.05). The three studied species clearly distinguished themselves in the present research. The results of this research showed that the analysis of morphometric and meristic traits is a useful tool for the separation of flatheads species studied in this research. صفات اندازشی و شمارشی گونه های غالب زمین کن ماهیان (زمین کن دم نواری Platycephalus indicus، زمین کن خال باله Grammmoplites suppositus و زمین کن زبر Grammoplites scaber) که به عنوان صید ضمنی میگو و همچنین در صید مشتاهای شهر بندرعباس به دام افتاده بودند، طی 18 ماه از فروردین 1401 تا مهر 1402 مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. در مجموع 19 ویژگی اندازشی و 6 ویژگی شمارشی آنها ثبت شد. میانگین طول کل و وزن ماهی ها به ترتیب در گونه P.indicus (9/2±6/23) سانتیمتر، (4/78±9/99) گرم و در گونه G.suppositus (7/6±4/20) سانتیمتر، (7/33±4/67) گرم و همچنین در گونه G.scaber (9/5±2/18) سانتیمتر ، (2/0±17/31) گرم بود. گونه P.indicus دارای بیشترین میزان در بین همه صفات اندازشی اندازه گیری شده (به جز ارتفاع سر، ارتفاع بدن و ارتفاع سر در ناحیه چشمی) و کمترین آن (به جز طول سر و ارتفاع باله مخرجی) در گونه G.scaber بودند. در بررسی صفات شمارشی نیز بیشترین و کمترین تعداد خار آبششی نیز به ترتیب در گونه های G.suppositus و G.scaber بود. تعداد شعاع های باله سینه ای نیز در گونه G.suppositus بیشترین تعداد و کمترین آن در P.indicus مشاهده شد. سه گونه مورد مطالعه در گروه های سنی مختلف، اختلاف معنی داری بین پارامترهای مختلف اندازشی و شمارشی (به جز تعداد شعاع های باله پشتی اول) نشان دادند. نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد تجزیه و تحلیل صفات اندازشی و شمارشی به عنوان ابزار مفیدی برای تفکیک گونه های زمین کن ماهیان مورد مطالعه در این تحقیق می باشد.
