Abstract

Entering any new technology to communities, puts a significant impact on the lives of people. Although technology is not inherently good or bad, but there is some damage that happens just by entering the technology. One damage in connection with internet is the excessive use of the internet or “internet addiction” thatis to be addressed in this paper. Excessive and obsessed use of internet causes psychological, social, academic and occupational problems to gather with physical problems such as eye pain, back pain, changes in sleeping and eating patterns,all of which are defined as “internet addiction”. The sample for this study includes all users in the cafenets of ShahinShahr, Esfahan (Iran), in the winter 2009 that have used Internet. The data needed for research questions were collected interview with 170 of users. For gathering the basic information of research, the Young Questionnaire IAS was used. The results showed that 4 persons (2.3%) got scores above 80 (sever addiction), 46 persons (27.5 %), had average addiction and 120 persons (70.58%) had scores lower than 50 and (normal users). There was a relationship between the excessive use of the Internet and satisfying the needs. Now the subject of “Internet addiction” in society is normal but it is expected that the second group (the average addiction) moves to serious addiction.

Abstract

Aims: The present study investigated the effects of different levels using of mealworm (Tenebrio molitor L., TM) on the growth and feed performance, body composition and digestive enzymes of rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss.
Materials & Methods: Fish (8.58± 0.27 g) in a completely randomized design in 4 treatments and each with 3 replications. Rainbow trout with different levels of 0, 15, 30 and 60% diet (TM0, TM15, TM30 and TM60) (including 50% moisture) of live worm for 30 days. Data were analyzed by one-way (SPSS 17). When p values were significant (P<0.05), means were compared using Duncan's multiple-range test.
Findings: At the end of the experimental, there were significant difference between treatments in growth performance and feed utilization. The results revealed that fish growth parameters and efficiency of nutrient utilization tended to increase with increasing dietary TM levels from 0 to 60%. Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) was significantly reduced in fish fed the diet with the highest worm level (TM60). The treatments fed TM showed highest protein and lower lipid content compared to fish fed control diet.
The analysis of gastrointestinal enzymes showed that amylase, protease and lipase had a statistically significant difference between the control and other treatments. Protease and amylase activities were found to be significantly higher for fish fed the TM60 diet compared with fish fed TM0 diet.
Conclusion: The results showed that using 60% (TM60) of worm instead of the base diet can improve growth, carcass composition and digestive enzymes.

Abstract

In this study, coastal sediments of Qeshm, Bandar Khamir and Bandar Laft regions in Hormozgan province were studied to determine the level of contamination of heavy metals lead, nickel, zinc, iron and copper by natural processes or human activities. In order to identify environmental pollutants caused by heavy metals, shovel sampling was performed from the sediments of these areas to measure the concentration of heavy metals and determine the enrichment index. The location of the samples was determined using a GPS device and sampling of surface sediments (tidal zone) was performed at 30 stations in the study areas. Atomic absorption of flame spectrometry was used to determine the concentration of heavy metals. The results showed that the mean concentrations of heavy elements lead, nickel, zinc, iron and copper in all sampling stations showed a significant difference (p<0.05). In terms of concentration of studied elements in Qeshm region (copper: 33.76 ± 1.88, zinc: 85.44 ± 2.75, lead: 31.79±  1.23, nickel: 34.17 ± 2.29 and Iron: 38000±691.21 μg/g) compared to Bandar Khamir (copper: 26.84 ± 2.30, zinc: 77.54 ± 2.12, lead: 24.71±  1.37, nickel:25.82± 1.30 and iron: 36810± 482.882 μg/g) and Bandar Laft (copper: 22.74± 2.42, zinc: 65.22±2.61, lead: 19.93± 1.32, nickel: 21.70±2.06 and iron: 35560±1014.56 μg/g) had higher contamination. The results also showed that the metal enrichment factor is low in all sediment samples and in terms of Müller geochemical index, the degree of soil contamination is in the category of non-contaminated soils.

Abstract

 This research was conducted to determine the effects of garlic extract as feed supplement on the growth performance, body content, blood indicators and culture water quality of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) under stress ammonia. A total number of 156 fish (Average weight 18.37±1.43g and total length 12.27±0.52cm) were reared in twelve 50-L tanks for 60 days (First period: 50 days of feeding with different levels of garlic extract) and (Second period: 10 days under ammonia stress of 0.024 mg /L). Experimental included adding different levels of extract to base food, 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5% (control, A1, A2 and A3, respectively). The growth performance was significantly higher in fish fed garlic extract supplementation than control. There was a significant difference in feed conversion ratio between different treatments, so that was obtained the lowest in A2 and the highest in control. Protein, immunoglobulin and cortisol concentrations were significantly affected by different levels of garlic. The end of the experiment period, the fish were kept in a close recirculation system for 24 hours. Water sampling was carried out every 4 hours. Water ammonia increased from 16 to 24 hours of the test. At the end of the experiment (time 24), the highest ammonia was obtained in treatment A3 (0.43). In general, the results showed that the addition of 1 to 1.5% garlic extract improved the growth performance and immune response in rainbow trout, while in the recirculation system, the water quality of the rearing environment was better in the control treatment.

Abstract

The main issue of this research is to identify the intellectual, cultural and political depths of the book of Asar Al-Wozarah's works, written by "Sif-aldin Haji-'bn Nezam Aghili" as one of the examples of Persian ministry writing in the Timurid period, by analyzing the light layers of this text. The results of this research, which was done by combined research method (analytical-descriptive-argumentative), are as follows: In the linguistic layer, the presence of high-frequency moral codes, lack of indexes and more use of sensory words make the text the main goal of ministry writing. The descriptions of the ministers and their works and the mention of details on the subject of bureaucracy have been omitted; In the syntactic layer, more use of the news aspect, simple sentences and short sentences have added to the certainty, clarity and speed of the narration in the text; In the rhetorical layer, the author has not made significant use of rhetorical tools; At the pragmatic level, expressive / declarative action takes place in the first place and persuasive action in the next stage, and shows how the author has used these two actions to recognize the values ​​that govern his value (moral / ideal) views. Aqili's main purpose in processing this text, rather than compiling a historical / political text with the coordinates of the Ministry  is to write an educational and ethical work with an approach. Encouraging moral virtues has been by emphasizing the instability of the world and reflecting human actions in his destiny by relying on the concepts of justice and resurrection.
