Abstract

دیر زمانی نیست که استقبال فزاینده¬ای را از ادبیات تطبیقی در ایران شاهد هستیم. این استقبال گرچه ممکن است از برخی جهات اتّفاقی فرخنده به شمار آید اما نیک که بنگریم چندان خوشایند نیست. متاسفانه در کشور ما روی¬آوردن به ادبیات تطبیقی بدون درک صحیح مبانی و چارچوب¬های نظری آن این رشته را با بحرانی جدی رو¬به¬رو کرده¬است. بدفهمی¬هایی که واژه «تطبیقی» ایجاد کرده باعث شده است که گاه این رشته صرفاً به عنوان یکی از «دانش¬های تطبیقی» از جمله فلسفه تطبیقی، زبان¬شناسی تطبیقی و... شناخته شود. از سوی دیگر به دلیل ناآشنایی با مکاتب گوناگون این رشته و در نظرگرفتن آن صرفا به عنوان مقایسه دو ادبیات ملی، «پژوهش¬هایی زیر چتر نام ادبیات تطبیقی انجام گرفته که هیچ¬گونه قرابت و سنخیتی با ماهیت آن ندارد» (انوشیروانی 1389:36). نوشتار پیش¬رو به بررسی مقاله «بررسی تطبیقی شعر و اندیشه تی. اس. الیوت و احمد شاملو بر اساس مولفه های مدرنیته» به قلم حسن اکبری بیرق و نرگس سنایی که در شماره 4 (پیاپی 12) نشریه پژوهش¬های زبان و ادبیات تطبیقی چاپ شده است، می¬پردازد.

Abstract

Clarifying New Historicism through a Critical Look at the Papers Applying the Approach in Iran As an approach to the relationship between literature and history, new historicism has been highly received in Iranian academia. This reception was concomitant with some misunderstandings. A part of these misunderstandings is the result of the elusive nature of the approach. Moreover, lack of theoretical works in Iran has led to serious problems. Even though this approach is not a very recent one, it is a novelty in Iran. One of the reasons behind this novelty is lack of sufficient theoretical source in the field. A glance on the practice of new historicism reveals the interest in the field along with the lack of sufficient theoretical source has led to some misunderstanding. The present paper tries to correct some of the misunderstandings surrounding this approach. Keywords: New Historicism, History, Literature, Pathology, Power, Discourse, Greenblatt, Foucault.

Abstract

Aims: In the present study, random forest (RF) and support vector machine (SVM) were used to assess the applicability of ensemble modeling in landslide susceptibility assessment across the Kolijan Rostaq Watershed in Mazandaran Province, Iran.
Materials & Methods: Both models were used in two modeling modes: 1) A solitary use (i.e., SVM and RF) and 2) Their ensemble with a bivariate statistical model named the weights of evidence (WofE) which then generated two more models, namely SVM-WofE and RF-WofE. Further, the resulting maps of each stage were dually coupled using the weighted arithmetic mean operation and an intermodal blending of the previous stages.
Findings: Accuracy of the models was assessed via the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves based on which the goodness-of-fit of the SVM and the SVM-WofE models were 0.817 and 0.841, respectively, while their respective prediction accuracy values were found to be 0.848 and 0.825. The goodness-of-fit of the RF and the RF-WofE models respectively was 0.9 and 0.823, while their respective prediction accuracy values were found to be 0.886 and 0.823. The goodness-of-fit and prediction power of SVM and SVM-WofE ensemble were respectively 0.859 and 0.873. The same increasing pattern was evident for the ensemble of RF and RF-WofE where their goodness-of-fit and prediction power increased, respectively, up to 0.928 and 0.873. Moreover, the goodness-of-fit and prediction power of RF-SVM ensemble were increased up to 0.932 and 0.899, respectively. The results of the averaged Kappa values throughout a 10-fold cross-validation test as an auxiliary accuracy assessment attested to the same results obtained from the ROC curves.
Conclusion: Successive intermodal ensembling approach is a simple and self-explanatory method so far as the context of many data mining techniques with a highly complex structure has been simply benefitted from the weighted averaging technique.

Abstract

Aims: The present study investigated the effects of different levels using of mealworm (Tenebrio molitor L., TM) on the growth and feed performance, body composition and digestive enzymes of rainbow trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss.
Materials & Methods: Fish (8.58± 0.27 g) in a completely randomized design in 4 treatments and each with 3 replications. Rainbow trout with different levels of 0, 15, 30 and 60% diet (TM0, TM15, TM30 and TM60) (including 50% moisture) of live worm for 30 days. Data were analyzed by one-way (SPSS 17). When p values were significant (P<0.05), means were compared using Duncan's multiple-range test.
Findings: At the end of the experimental, there were significant difference between treatments in growth performance and feed utilization. The results revealed that fish growth parameters and efficiency of nutrient utilization tended to increase with increasing dietary TM levels from 0 to 60%. Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) was significantly reduced in fish fed the diet with the highest worm level (TM60). The treatments fed TM showed highest protein and lower lipid content compared to fish fed control diet.
The analysis of gastrointestinal enzymes showed that amylase, protease and lipase had a statistically significant difference between the control and other treatments. Protease and amylase activities were found to be significantly higher for fish fed the TM60 diet compared with fish fed TM0 diet.
Conclusion: The results showed that using 60% (TM60) of worm instead of the base diet can improve growth, carcass composition and digestive enzymes.

Abstract

Aims: The objective of this research was to investigate the effects of three commercial prebiotics A-Max, Celmanax and Ultra (each of 0.5, 1 and 1.5 g/kg diets) on growth, feed performance and blood biochemical compounds of beluga juvenile.
Materials & Methods: 900 fish with average weight of 21.5± 0.89 gr feeding was performed in 9 treatments (which on with three replicate) for 60 days. Control treatment was without supplementation. Fish were fed to satiation triple daily of 5% body weight. At the end of this period, the feed and growth performance were measured.
Findings: There was a significantly higher final body weight in ultra 0.5 (90.00± 21.78 g) compared with control (37.50± 9.60 g). The highest and lowest of food conversion were in treatments control and ultra (0.5), respectively. The results showed that the highest Fat and protein efficiency ratio was obtained in Ultra 0.5 (2.19± 0.77 and 7.37± 2.60) and lowest in control. Generally, the best treatments were in groups: Celmanax (dose of 0.5), A-Max (dose of 1.5) and Ultra (0.5). In addition, after determining the proper dose, blood samples were collected fish in the above-mentioned treatments. Based on the results of blood biochemistry parameters, there were no significant difference AST, ALP and ALT activity, so that the highest amount was obtained in the control. There were no significant differences in protein and cortisol experiment groups.
Conclusion: The results showed that the use of prebiotics in juvenile sturgeon diet has positive effects on feed performance and blood biochemical parameters.

Abstract

Because of the importance of osmoregulation in success of the juvenile Caspian Roach (Rutilus caspicus) release, maintenance and their restoration, this study was performed with the aim of the evaluation of these fish (average weight of 1.4 g± 0.018 g) to the salinity tolerance of the Caspian Sea by abrupt and gradual transfer methods on two different occasions of short-term (24 hours) and long-term (21 days). For this reason, 360 juvenile roaches were distributed to 9 different experimental treatments (each of them with 3 replicates) with 1) increased abrupt salinity (direct transfer to the Caspian Sea water), 2) increased gradual salinity (3 ppt for every 24 hrs) and 3) the Control group (freshwater). In order to evaluate the ion regulation, osmolality, Na+, K+ and Cl- were measured in fish. Some immune responses related to the increased salinity (immunoglobulin and lysozyme) and stress indices (cortisol and glucose) were also measured. Based on the obtained results, the fish in both treatments of increased salinity showed high percentage of survival. All parameters related to ion regulation were decreased after a primary increase. Furthermore, the trend of cortisol and immunoglobulin changes were negatively correlated showing decreased stress response and increased immune system for both salinity transfer methods. Thus, the roach juveniles (1-2 g) are able to be transferred into the Caspian Sea directly.

Abstract

 Biofloc technology is considered as a culture system for fish production reduced environmental impacts. In the present study investigated the impact of zeolite nanoparticle on water quality, growth performance, digestive enzymes and immune response of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) reared under biofloc conditions. Fish fingerlings (initial weight of 7.99 ± 0.36 g) were divided into four treatments and fed four levels of zeolite nanoparticles in the following 0 (control), 50, 100 and 200  mg kg−1 diet in biofloc system (NZ1, NZ2 and NZ3) for 60 days. Carbon to nitrogen ratio (15:1) was provided using sucrose. Water quality parameters such as nitrogen compounds were measured during the test period. At the end of the experiment, the highest growth indices and the lowest feed conversion ratio were obtained in 50 mg kg−1 diet (NZ1). Intestinal protease activities in NZ1 and NZ2 treatments were significantly higher than in the other treatments, and the highest lipase and amylase activity was related to the NZ1 treatment. The 50 and 100 Zeolite diets in biofloc conditions significantly enhanced fish immune system activity. The present study suggests that dietary supplementation with 50 and 100 mg Zeolite nanoparticles in biofloc system significantly increases growth performance, digestive enzyme, and immunological response in common carp in fish culture tanks.

Abstract

 This research was conducted to determine the effects of garlic extract as feed supplement on the growth performance, body content, blood indicators and culture water quality of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) under stress ammonia. A total number of 156 fish (Average weight 18.37±1.43g and total length 12.27±0.52cm) were reared in twelve 50-L tanks for 60 days (First period: 50 days of feeding with different levels of garlic extract) and (Second period: 10 days under ammonia stress of 0.024 mg /L). Experimental included adding different levels of extract to base food, 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5% (control, A1, A2 and A3, respectively). The growth performance was significantly higher in fish fed garlic extract supplementation than control. There was a significant difference in feed conversion ratio between different treatments, so that was obtained the lowest in A2 and the highest in control. Protein, immunoglobulin and cortisol concentrations were significantly affected by different levels of garlic. The end of the experiment period, the fish were kept in a close recirculation system for 24 hours. Water sampling was carried out every 4 hours. Water ammonia increased from 16 to 24 hours of the test. At the end of the experiment (time 24), the highest ammonia was obtained in treatment A3 (0.43). In general, the results showed that the addition of 1 to 1.5% garlic extract improved the growth performance and immune response in rainbow trout, while in the recirculation system, the water quality of the rearing environment was better in the control treatment.

Abstract

The aim of the current research was microencapsulation of Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus bacteria by coacervation complex method and sodium caseinate and pectin coatings. Sodium caseinate and pectin have electrostatic attraction together at pH=4 and form a complex. Using a scanning electron microscope, the morphology of coacervates was investigated. The properties of pectin and sodium caseinate complexes were investigated by infrared spectrometry tests and measuring the size and distribution of particles. Physicochemical characteristics such as water absorption, pH and acidity and sensory characteristics were also investigated. The results showed that the efficiency of microencapsulation of bacteria by coacervation method was 66.6%. The particle size was 1.565 micrometers and the zeta potential was reported as -16 mV. Electron microscope images showed spherical coacervate without holes and wrinkles on the surface. The results of infrared spectroscopy also showed the creation of electrostatic interactions between pectin and sodium caseinate. Also, microencapsulation of bacteria caused a significant change (p>0.05) in pH (4.6 ± 0.091) and yogurt acidity (1.1 ± 0.03) compared to pH (4.6 ± 0.1). And the acidity of yogurt (0.8±0.01) produced with free bacteria did not. The water content of yogurts produced with microencapsulated bacteria (40±1.1) was reduced compared to yogurts produced with free bacteria (45±0.9) (p<0.05). Bacterial encapsulation has a negative effect on color sensory characteristics. It did not have the smell and taste of the produced yogurts (p>0/05), but a significant difference was observed in the texture of the yogurts produced with microencapsulated bacteria compared to the yogurts produced with free bacteria (p<0/05).

Abstract

Introduction
With the growth of urbanization and the expansion of cities, suburban villages are influenced by their central city. The size of agricultural land is reduced, will change to residential and industrial use, and will shift to urban features, though they still have many differences with the city. In fact, the Rural Space Organization is transforming, growing and developing in a way that retains some of its traditional features and embraces many of the characteristics of urbanization. In this context, it can be said that the suburban villages are strongly influenced by the growth and development of the cities and their relations with their development, but these effects are manifested mainly in the increase of population and physical expansion of the rural settlements around the cities, and they have little to do with economic and social development within the framework of sustainable rural development. These villages usually face numerous challenges such as environmental pollution, inadequate land use allocation, excessive use of cars, unnecessary exploitation of resources, shifting the economic structure from a production-based economy to a consumer-dependent economy, weakening of village cultural customs and collapse of longstanding traditions of rural cooperation and participation, that pose many problems in achieving sustainable development of rural settlements. The growth of suburban settlements in the metropolitan area of Tehran, rather than being the result of new rural migrants or natural population growth, is the result of redistribution and relocation of the urban population within the metropolitan area of Tehran. One of the forces driving such developments is the uncontrolled policies of urban growth. The existence of such a trend demonstrates the need to plan and formulate a proper pattern for the villages in the suburbs in order to avoid sporadic and unstable growth concequences and to achieve a quality of life. However, smart growth strategy is being considered as a solution to environmental, social, economic and physical problems.
Methodology
The purpose of this study is to identify ten indices of smart growth based on the typology of rural areas of the country and to evaluate the villages around Tehran metropolis based on these indices. The general approach of this study is quantitative and data collection based on library-documentary data and field survey. Indicators of smart growth pattern matching the characteristics of rural areas of the country were identified by experts in the field of rural studies and the basis of questionnaire design was used as the main research tool in field studies. 74 indicators were finally accepted by experts in the form of ten smart growth criteria. Based on distance variables, population between 1000-1000, population growth rate above 3% and having a physical development plan, 15 villages were identified. Cronbach's alpha technique was used to measure the reliability of the research instrument and the value of 0.805 was obtained, which indicates appropriate reliability of the research instrument. To determine sample size, Cochran formula was used. Considering the size of the statistical population of the villages in the study area which is 41845 people, 378 heads of households were selected as sample population.
Results and discussion
Radar test was used to assess the intelligence level of suburban villages of Tehran metropolis.
Radar test results based on Prescott Allen's five spectrum show that the villages are in two situations; 7 villages in non-intelligent growth potential and 8 villages in potential non-intelligent growth status, and none of the villages are in medium status or smart growth. The results of one-way analysis of variance showed that there was a significant difference between all villages in terms of smart growth pattern at alpha level of 0.05. Based on the Tukey test, it was found that the villages were divided into 4 floors. The villages of Zaman Abad, Ibrahim Abad and Sarbandan are on the first floor and tend to be sparse. Chehelghaz, Rye and Nouchman ghale villages are on the second floor; Abdul Abad Ghale, Qeshlagh Mallard and Mehrabad villages are on the third floor; Bagh Kamesh, Noamlak Ghale, Kordzar, Emameh Balah and Lalan are on the fourth floor; and in trendy condition, they are on the path to smart growth.
Conclusion
Although the suburban rural areas are heavily influenced by the growth and expansion of cities and their relationships with their development path, this impact is more pronounced in terms of population growth and physical expansion of rural settlements around the cities, and less as a sign of economic and socioeconomic development. Within the framework of sustainable development, they have their own village. In this study, we tried to evaluate the suburban villages of Tehran metropolis based on the smart growth model principles. To this end, based on existing research literature on the evaluation and analysis of smart growth components with special emphasis on rural areas, 74 items in the form of 10 principles including hybrid land use, intensive development, quality housing, attractive housing, pedestrian, environmental quality, optimized transportation, internal development, social participation and economic investment were designed and analyzed.
It can be deduced from the results of radar test and Alcan Prescott intelligence levels segmentation, that the villages under study are in no way in the position of a smart growth and potential smart growth (good) model and the process of rural development is more sprawl and potential dispersed growth (weak). Therefore, it can be said that the smart growth paradigm in the study areas has not returned to its position as a spatial strategy in regional and local planning policies, and is more susceptible to change, unintended and dispersed growth due to Tehran metropolitan policies and programs
The growth of suburban settlements in the metropolitan area of Tehran, is the result of redistribution and relocation of the urban population rather than being the result of new rural migrants or natural population in this metorpolitan.
